Simon started out as a chartered accountant before moving into insurance.

From 2020 to 2023 he built and ran the insurance arm of BSD Management Consultants, a mortgage company in Manchester. Since then Simon has established Melia Cover and built an extensive network of clients across the UK.

Simon remains a numbers person through and through, but with a personal touch — channeling a precise attention to detail into the insurance market to accurately price risk, and secure the absolute best deals for his clients.

Richard leads Melia Cover with a background across property, insurance and finance.

His career began at Bruntwood where he built a solid foundation in property management and acquisitions. Richard then joined Almyra Consultants as Sales Manager in 2022, where he assisted over 2,000 property investors in recovering more than £14 million in tax refunds, before establishing Melia Cover in 2023.

Richard has transitioned his client portfolio over from his property finance background, and has leveraged many of those trusted relationships to build a book of insurance business across the UK.
